One of my personal favorite children’s stories, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, is a tale of a little creature that eats and eats and eats. I’ve added a few illustrations from the book below to see the similarities I tried to pull off on this cake. All pieces, including hand painted food on the bottom tier are edible.😉
Happy 1st Birthday Matt Jr.!!
Sticking with the snow theme, as we in Chicago are so familiar with these days, here’s a few fun celebration cakes.
Happy 8th Birthday Ellen!! So glad to help you celebrate again.
Mariana and her family welcomed one with this pink & grey snowflake cake.
Emily had a beautiful Winter Wonderland themed Sweet 16. She designed this 4 tiered blue & white for her day.
Girls time is so great! It’s a time to forget about house chores, projects & chaos!!! This group of ladies is one I admire greatly. For a summer get together they decided to up the wine & small talk to a Downton Abbey themed High Tea.
Here they are outfits & all! And of course, a cake to match.
Minnie & Mickey Mouse cakes to match many different party styles…
It’s all about the Mouse! Or mice in this case.:)
A 40th birthday celebration is usually a milestone that, for some, is a time to say “I got this!” or others want to hide from the thought. Stephanie embraced her day and simply rocked!
Celebrating her very first birthday, here’s Arianna and her Minnie cake. Looks like she had a great time with her smash cake.
Anjali welcomed her first birthday with her very own disco ball cake.
Lily celebrated 8 with makeup!
Sofia had her favorite princess help welcome her 2nd birthday.
**Doc McStuffins toys added after picture on 2nd cake. 🙂
